Q. How do I determine which size backpack is right for me?
A. Having a correctly fitted backpack is extremely important, since you'll be lugging around about 50 pounds of extra weight. Backpacks aren't fitted based on a person's height, but rather their torso length. Therefore, a tall person with a small torso would be better suited with a smaller pack and visa versa. To measure your torso, have a friend measure the length from the vertebrae that sticks out furthest of your neck to a place on your spine that is equally high as the top of your hip bone. This is your torso length, so be sure that the backpack you choose has your length within its range. If you're confused by the measurement of your torso, take a look at the diagram below.

Q. Can I order a pack and switch out the waistbelt for a different size?
A. Unfortunately, we do not switch out the waistbelts.
Q. What is the return policy and where should I ship my return?
A. Here is the basic return policy:
Within 10 days: Full refund or exchange
Within 30 days: Full credit
After 30 days: No refunds, credit, or exchanges

Q. If I place an order today, how long will it take for me to get my order?
A. Typically it takes 2-4 business days for the item to ship from our warehouse, and Fed Ex ground times vary from 1 to 5 business days with 1 being areas of California, and 5 being the Northeast.
Q. How can I check the status of my order and get tracking information?
A. To check the status of your order feel free to email us at service@collegebackpacking.com and include your order number. Tracking information will be sent by Fed Ex when the order has shipped to the email address you used when ordering.
